Product Description
Calamine is a medication used to treat mild itchiness, sunburn, insect bite, or other mild skin conditions. This medication is a combination of zinc oxide and 0.5% ferric oxide. It is applied topically to the skin in the form of cream or lotion. There are no known side effects of this medicine and is considered safe during pregnancy. It is also used as a component of the zinc-impregnated gauze wrap to treat ulcers of the leg in Unna boots.
