Starting with a modest beginning in the year 2004, we are one of the leading organizations engaged in offering Eptifibatide. It is an anti-coagulant that selectively blocks the platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa receptor. This drug is a cyclic heptapeptide derived from a protein found in the venom of the southeastern pygmy rattlesnake. It belongs to the class of the so called arginin-glycin-aspartat-mimetics and reversibly binds to platelets. Eptifibatide is also used with other medications such as nitrates, beta blockers to stop or prevent a heart attack in people with continuing chest pain when the above procedures cannot be done. It is usually used with heparin and aspirin. It works by preventing platelets in the blood from sticking to each other.
