• General Description:Glycofurol is a non-ionic solubilizer and solvent, derived from tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol and polyethylene glycol (PEG). It is used mainly as a pharmaceutical excipient, especially in parenteral (injectable) drug formulations, where solubility enhancement of poorly soluble drugs is required.
