- Introduction of product


The chloride salt of Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride is antibacterial fluoroquinolone antibiotic. By binding to and inhibiting DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, moxifloxacin causes cell death in sensitive bacterial species.

- How does it work


Moxifloxacin belongs to a class of antibiotics known as fluoroquinolones. Infection-causing bacteria are killed by it. Colds, flu, and other viral infections do not respond to antibiotics such as moxifloxacin.

This antibiotic is used to treat bacterial infections like skin infections, abdominal (stomach) infections and pneumonia. Additionally, moxifloxacin is used to prevent and treat plague.

- How to use


Your doctor may prescribe this medicine with or without food, usually once a day. The dosage and duration of treatment are determined by your medical condition and response to treatment. If you are taking this medication, you should drink plenty of fluids.

Ophthalmic solution containing moxifloxacin 0.5%.
