How does it work:

Motion sickness can be treated with dimenhydrinate to prevent nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Diamnhydrinate is an antihistamine. The goal is to prevent problems with balance. Most people can expect some relief of nausea and vomiting after taking dimenhydrinate within one hour. The drug relieves vertigo by working on the brain and the inner ear.

In combination with Diphemanil, Dimenhydrinate may increase its central nervous system depressant effects. 

How to use:

If you're going to perform an activity that could trigger motion sickness, take dimenhydrinate 30 to 60 minutes beforehand. Dimenhydrinate may be taken either with or without food. Chewing the chewable tablet is required before swallowing. The liquid form of this medication should be measured using a special spoon or measuring device. 

Dosage of usage:

  • ADULTS: Injectable solution: 50mg/mL

Side effects :

Constipation, drowsiness, blurred vision, and dry mouth/nose/throat are possible symptoms. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if any of these symptoms persist or worsen. Try sucking sugar-free hard candy, chewing sugar-free gum, drinking water, or using a saliva substitute to relieve dry mouth.
