• Description:Hydroxyprogesterone Caproate is a synthetic derivative of the naturally occurring hormone progesterone. It is most commonly used in the prevention of preterm birth in women who have had a prior spontaneous preterm delivery. It exerts progestational effects, promoting the maintenance of pregnancy by supporting the uterine lining and reducing uterine contractions.
