How does it work:

Over the course of a week, the effects of olmestartan will begin to be felt. For it to take full effect, it may take from two to eight weeks. Some people may not notice any symptoms. If you take olmesar, you may not feel any different.

This medication is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Preventing heart attacks, strokes, and kidney problems is easier when blood pressure is lower. Olmesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). Olmesartan helps blood flow by relaxing blood vessels.

How to use:

By mouth, take this medication as directed by your doctor, usually once a day with or without food. You should take the dosage as directed by your doctor. Shake well the bottle of this medication before taking a dose if you are using the liquid form. Use a special measurement device or spoon to measure the dose carefully. A household spoon may not deliver the correct dose.

If taken while you are pregnant, this medicine can harm your unborn baby, especially in your second or third trimester. Use effective birth control to avoid becoming pregnant. You should report any pregnancy that might have occurred while taking this medicine to your doctor as soon as possible. If you need to change blood pressure medications, you should stop taking this drug.
